Care and Share Development Worker
Lizzie has recently started working with Care and Share, having volunteered for over a year on Wednesdays. Her job as the Development Worker includes supporting people in the community who are experiencing homelessness, and working with the NHS, South Ayrshire Council and other professional agencies to provide relevant and effective services for those in need. She has been a primary teacher for 4 years and last year, when she got a break from washing dishes at Care and Share, she took up tutoring adult learners. Lizzie comes from Kilmarnock and doesn’t mind travelling to the sunnier end of the shire for the beaches and ice cream!
