Riverside Church is highly committed to helping meet the spiritual, social and care needs of its local community.  To help address local needs we work in partnership with local organisations such as the Wallacetoun & Newton Regeneration Forum, South Ayrshire Council’s Community Learning & Development department, South Ayrshire Community Safety Partnership, NHS Ayrshire & Arran and local schools.

Our commitment to the community includes various practical services aimed at supporting and assisting people with specific needs such as mental health support or young people transitioning out of care and into independent living.  Some activities are merely hosted by the church but many activities are run by the church or find church volunteers and professionals working side-by-side.
