Riverside enjoys strong relationships with local schools. We provide a Chaplaincy service to Belmont Academy, Braehead Primary, Newton Primary and Southcraig Campus. We regularly lead assemblies in all of these schools and Fiona also leads drama groups, a wide variety of school/community projects and SU groups in Belmont and Newton. The church and schools work together in all sorts of creative ways including cultural projects and links with projects in the developing world. In the summer of 2009 a group of senior pupils from Belmont Academy visited a Tearfund project we supported in Malawi.
