We meet together as a church family on a Sunday morning at 10.30 am. If you want to join us, please find more information below.

Our family service is open to all ages. After a time of prayer and worship together, the children go down to Explorers and our speaker brings the message. We celebrate Communion on the first Sunday of the month during this service.

On the third Sunday of the month, we have a separate time of sharing and communion at 12 noon.

Attending Church on Sunday

The church has now re-opened without a limited number in attendance. We have updated the general guidance, see below, and ask that you comply with this guidance prior to attending church. If you'd like to know more or would like to book a socially distanced seat please contact Jim Cobb at the Church Office on 01292 262686 or

General Guidance for attending a service

In order to comply with the current Scottish Government guidance there are a few things we need to do to ensure that we all stay safe. Firstly it goes with out saying that please stay at home if you:

  • Have signs of a fever or a high temperature;

  • Have a persistent cough or respiratory problems;

  • You currently have a loss of taste or smell;

  • You have had contact with any possible source of the virus.

When attending church:

  • Please arrive in plenty of time to avoid queuing;

  • Follow the one-way system in operation;

  • Use the hand sanitiser before entering;

  • Face coverings should be worn at all times;

  • Congregational singing is currently permitted with masks.

  • Please arrive early – we will be serving coffee, tea, juice and pastries from 10am.

Although Government regulations no longer require social distancing we will, for now, endeavour to continue to organise seating with a 1 metre distancing For those who wish it. If you want that distance guaranteed then, when booking, please simply let us know that you would like to be seated in a socially distanced area.

There are more opportunities now to chat and socialise but please do be mindful of people’s personal space. We would like to maintain an environment where people feel safe to return to church so, for now, please refrain from handshaking, hugging, etc.

The stewards or church staff will not be able to personally accept any items that you may want to pass onto the church office. We ask that you either phone the office directly or use email to communicate with us.

There will be an collection box at the rear of the church, as you leave, if you wish to make an offering to the church finances. If you choose to give in this way we ask that you donate by cheque and not cash. Please mark clearly on the envelope where you wish your donation to be directed e.g. general fund, mission etc. However, we recommend, for regular giving, that you set up a standing order. Please contact us for more information.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding and despite the restrictions you will be blessed by being with us.

We've created a playlist of worship songs we use at Riverside. You can find them at the Spotify Player below.
